Plugcal (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use Plugcal, a calendar and scheduling application.

  1. Information We Collect Plugcal does not collect, store, or transmit your personal calendar data to external servers. The App may access the following on your device: Calendar Data Event titles Event start and end times Calendar identifiers (local device only) This data is accessed solely to display and manage your schedule within the App using Apple’s EventKit framework. Notifications The App may schedule local notifications for reminders Notifications are generated and stored on your device only We do not track or store notification content externally.
  2. How Your Data Is Used All data accessed by Plugcal is used only for: Displaying your calendar events in the app Allowing you to create, edit, and delete events Sending local reminders before events We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
  3. Data Storage Your calendar data remains stored within Apple’s native Calendar system Plugcal does not maintain any external database of user data We do not have access to your calendar outside your device
  4. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We only use Apple system frameworks: EventKit (calendar access) UserNotifications (reminders) These services operate locally on your device under Apple’s privacy policies.
  5. Data Security Since all data remains on your device: Security is handled by Apple iOS security systems We do not transmit or store sensitive personal information externally

Your Rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR) Depending on your location, you may have rights including: Access to your data (via Apple Calendar) Correction of inaccurate data Deletion of calendar events Restricting app access via device settings You can revoke Plugcal’s access at any time: Settings → Privacy → Calendar → Plugcal
  7. Children’s Privacy Plugcal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children.
  8. Third-Party Services Plugcal uses Apple system services only: Apple EventKit Apple UserNotifications We are not responsible for Apple’s handling of data under their system policies.
  9. International Users If you use Plugcal outside the United Kingdom: Your data is still processed locally on your device No data is transferred internationally by us
  10. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App. Continued use of Plugcal means you accept the updated policy.
